Robert Millis, CEO
Rob first applied his film and journalism experience to online video in 2006 as the producer of the standard-setting current affairs program American Microphone. This was quickly followed by a partnership with Will Coghlan as co-producer of several programs, including the pioneering election news program Political Lunch. Never playing favorites and always independent, Political Lunch was lauded by one reviewer as setting "a new standard for news commentary in the online world." Recognizing that critical success and a reliable audience were not enough to pay the bills, Rob partnered with Will again to begin work on the Dynamo Player. Will Coghlan, COO
With a background in journalism, politics and communications, Will joined Rob Millis in 2007 to found an online production company, Hudson Street Media. As a co-producer of Political Lunch, Will wrote and cut over 400 episodes of the lunchtime news program, which won high praise for its coverage and became a favorite for distributors such as iTunes. But after years of trying to stay afloat on a small trickle of revenue from advertising, Will and Rob pulled the plug and began work on a micropayment-powered video publishing platform.Tim Dirrenberger, CTO
